Top Note’s qualified teachers care about your students and their development. With at least two different teachers on each instrument, we’re confident we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs! We also offer tutoring with a certified teacher.

Top Note Music offers year-round music lessons for students 3 years and up in in three safe locations, in groups, in-person, and on-line.

Top Note has a proven track record of excellence since 2000. Every year, students from the school receive top marks in their Royal Conservatory of Music exams and thousands of dollars in scholarships. We’ve won Top Mark in Alberta for Percussion students for several years, and one student received Top Marks in Canada for their Grade 8 Percussion exam!
5. Widest Range of Time Slots
Top Note has the widest range of Music Lesson times available: 5-7 days / week, depending on demand. Multiple family members can take lessons within the same time slot, Monday-Friday, 9 am – 9 pm; Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm; Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm.

Top Note offers music lessons in three convenient locations, all with free parking and close to local shopping:

Top Note offers studios fully stocked with equipment appropriate to the lesson, and a wonderful library of resources that students and teachers can select from for their musical journey!

Top Note has secured many opportunities for students to perform in respected Recitals, Concerts, and Showcases, in local Music Halls, with excellent equipment – all for free! Our Recitals are normally in December or January, and June.

Top Note will respond quickly to online registrations by text or email to help parents make informed choices for their child’s lessons.
10. Celebration of Success
Top Note offers the Musical Ladder System at no additional cost to all interested students. This amazing program offers awards as your student progresses through their music lessons, including wristbands and trophies.

Top Note makes music books and accessories available to students so you don’t have to travel to distant music stores.
12. No Subscription, No Commitment
Top Note offers month-to-month teaching: we don’t don’t require semester minimums for music lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis.

Top Note brings in a professional photographer for wonderful pictures at Recitals, Concerts, and Showcases – upon parent request.
14. Online Calendar & Payment System
Top Note offers a convenient online calendar and payment system so you can easily view your lessons, make changes, and pay your invoice!
