Do I have to know how to read music?
No! All beginners are welcome!
Do I need a piano to learn?
No, you do not need a full size piano to take lessons. A simple full size keyed electronic keyboard will suffice for the first 6-12 months. Top Note Music does rent keyboards if you
wish to try one in the home first.
Are there Piano recitals?
Absolutely! Every December or January, and June our students have the opportunity to perform in recital halls with excellent pianos. The admission is free, so you can invite all of your family and friends.
Many of our students are asked to perform in community events as well.
