Mountainview Concert Band
Since 2017, directed by Teena Trick-Wilks and Barry Valleau.
Mondays 7 – 8:30 pm at the Didsbury High School Music Room, 1515 – 15th Ave.
Summer get-togethers at the Carstairs Gazebo from end of June to end of August.
2A Community Band
Performing since 2017,
the 2A Band offers a great opportunity for those who played music in school to continue their love of band music as adults!

Top Note Jazz Band
Directed by Mike Gardner, musician, clinician, and conductor.
Tuesdays 7 – 8:30 pm at the Didsbury High School Music Room, 1515 – 15th Ave.
Home School Band Program
- Woodwinds – flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone
- Brass – trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone (euphonium), or tuba

Wednesdays 1:30 – 3 pm.
Each lesson will focus on the fundamental skills of tone production, aural, rhythmic, and theory related to musical notation.
Students are introduced to musical expression through performance. Two concerts will be performed for family and friends, likely be during the holiday season and in early June, with other performance opportunities during the season.
Teacher: Mr. Mike Gardner – 37 years as a musician and teacher, in public school service, as an independent teacher, clinician, conductor, composer, and freelance musician. He’s directed school and community band programs of all levels, and is known for the quality of musicianship his students and band members have achieved.
We request a commitment to the entire season schedule, September to June.
Jazz Band
Come learn how to play in an after-school jazz band! We’ll explore various jazz, blues, and rock music styles together.
Wednesdays 3:30 – 4:340 PM, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Didsbury.
Home School Choir Program
Led by Allison, who was trained in Royal Conservatory Voice and Piano, and competed at the provincial level. She then went onto study music at the University of Lethbridge.
She has a passion for teaching music!

Wednesdays 12 – 1:15 pm, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Didsbury.
